Good Morning,

The following message is sent in partnership with our colleagues in the Student Health Service. We recognize that you may have already received this message. If so, please forgive the duplicate communications as we ensure students are aware of current health conditions that may be impacting members of our community.

Best -

Zach Blackmon, Ph.D., MBA

Associate Director of Operations

Each fall we see a number of recurring respiratory illnesses that are easily transmitted in our community. As we move into the second half of the semester, Student Health Service (SHS) would like to remind you of this healthy habits message.

As always, we ask everyone to continue demonstrating respect and kindness for one another’s personal risk tolerance and wellbeing and empathy for those with differing risk assessments. As mentioned in the healthy habits message, we encourage regular hand washing, the use of a tissue or coughing/sneezing into your elbow, wearing a mask if you are coughing or sneezing to avoid spreading germs, cleaning surfaces daily using antibacterial solutions, and staying home if you are sick or have a fever.

Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our community healthy.

Best,

Jessica St. John, MD
