Your Chamber @ Work

Please update our NEW address in your systems.

“Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things but just look what they can do when they

stick together.” — Vesta Kelly

The snow over the past few weeks has been beautiful, but I think we are all ready for signs of

spring. It seems to be right around the corner, let’s hope. Don’t forget to grab your tickets for the

Love Grove promotion happening this month. We have so many great items in our Shop Local –

Love Grove basket and a lucky shopper will earn this when we draw the winning ticket in a few

weeks. Show your support to our amazing retailers and keep your dollars local.

There are many opportunities to engage with the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce this

month. If you have not registered for the February 25th Lunch Forum, we invite you to join us.

We have a great line-up with representatives from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation,

Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, and County Commissioners David Poindexter and Scott Hilton.

We will take questions from attendees as you arrive and receive updates from these different

agencies on transportation updates for projects around the region. Tickets are $20 for members

and the deadline to register is this Friday. We hope you will join us for this important update for

our communities.

If you have not renewed your ad in the new 2025-2026 Vacation & Relocation guide, we are a

few weeks away from finalizing that project. We have added new distribution outlets reaching up

to Wichita, KS, over to Springfield, MO, and down to Fort Smith, AR. If you are seeking ways to

further promote your business or organization, this is a great opportunity to advertise to potential

new customers. If you have not received a packet, let me know. The guide is a top resource

used by professionals across the lake region. Let’s get your ad confirmed today.

There are a few booth spots left at the Chamber’s Home & Garden Show, coming up in March.

If you are interested in booth space, contact us before we sell out. There is a lot of business that

happens at the show, and we encourage you to join us for 3 days as we showcase products and

services to a market looking for spring inspiration and new ideas. If you are interested in

providing an item for our raffle at the show, call our office to coordinate with our team.

Stay safe this week and take some time to enjoy the beautiful snowflakes!

LEADERSHIP GROVE

Graduation

What a fun group of community leaders we had this year at Leadership Grove! It was such a pleasure to introduce them to ten of the different areas that our Grove and Grand Lake communities have to offer. Thank you to each of them for some very enlightening insights and for putting in the time and effort it takes to complete the sessions. Job well done!

Graduation was held Tuesday evening at Mulligans with a fabulous dinner, awards, and some great conversation - beating the weather by just a few hours. A special thank you to the staff at Mulligans for reserving a time for the group to celebrate and for the delicious food and great service. Congratulations to those graduating in the 2025 class!
