All international undergraduate students (new or current) MUST maintain 9 credits of face-to-face/flexible delivery instruction

In observance of Labor Day, Wright State University will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2021.


No classes will be held in observance of Labor Day weekend.

Important Information

Working Off Campus without 

CPT Authorization is ILLEGAL



F-1 visa regulations  8 CFR 214.2(f)(9) allow international students to ONLY work on campus. Off campus work is limited to internships/co-ops after 2 full time semesters after UCIE APPROVAL ONLY. Working off campus in any other capacity is illegal and if caught could lead to SEVIS Termination and possibly deportation. 

Important Fall Dates

  • September 2 - Undergraduate and Graduate Deadline to Apply for Graduation
  • September 2- Last day to purchase or cancel student health insurance.
  • September 2 - Last day to drop/withdraw and receive 100% tuition refund (if the student has hold, Registration Form must be submitted to RaiderConnect on a business day) (Full-term)
  • September 2 -Last day to drop a course without a grade (if a student has hold, Registration Form must be submitted to RaiderConnect on a business day)(Term A)
  • September 5 Labor Day Holiday; University Closed

Indian Student Association(ISA) Events

Yesterday the members of the ISA team celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi festival at the Outdoor Amphitheater.


Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Vinayaka Chaturthi, in Hinduism, is a 10-day festival marking the birth of the elephant-headed deity Ganesha, the god of prosperity and wisdom. It begins on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the month of Bhadrapada (August–September), the sixth month of the Hindu calendar.

Raider Care Line

The Raider Care Line has a new phone number. Students can now reach a Raider Cares counselor at 937-775-4567.


The Raider Care Line is a 24/7 telephone crisis service provided by Counseling and Wellness Services for enrolled WSU students. Counseling and Wellness Services offers a wide range of therapeutic services including group, individual, couples, and family therapy to registered Wright State University students.
