Excited student after winning an Amazon Future Engineers Scholarship

Engineers in the Making Seven SPS seniors from five high schools were awarded a $40,000 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship and a paid internship at the company after their freshman year of college. 

South End Super Team Students from Franklin, Cleveland and Garfield join forces to form the competitive robotics team XBOT #488.

Memorial Day Observance There will be no school on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. The district office will also be closed for the holiday.   

Decisions, Decisions School Choice applications are still being accepted through May 31.

A Night at the Art Museum There’s still time to check out the works of art by SPS students at the Naramore Exhibition. The Teen Night Out celebratory reception is Friday, May 3.   

Testing Your Knowledge The 2024 AP Exams will be administered in schools May 6-17 with additional dates for late testers.
