World Diabetes Day Resources

World Diabetes Day (WDD) was created in 1991 by the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization in response to growing concerns about the escalating health threat posed by diabetes.


Promoted this year is CDC's "Know your risk, know your response" call to action around knowing your risk for type 2 diabetes and actions to take to support prevention, early diagnosis, and timely treatment.
