Children & Youth Sunday

Children & Youth Sunday is here!

CLICK HERE if you would still like to help out with worship on this special day!

Our young people will be acting as worship volunteers at both the 8:00 & 10:30 AM services. We also have a team of youth cantors, older elementary school song leaders, and teen musicians sharing their clarinet, piano, and saxophone talents!

Be sure to join us for the Sunday Forum from 9:15 - 10:10 AM where we will be discussing "A Child-Like Faith!" A panel of 4th and 5th graders will help us remember what is like to have child-like wonder, questions, experiences, and imagination.

Please note: Our forum will replace elementary Sunday School this week! Families are invited to attend together.

Lastly, our younger elementary Cherub Choir will be singing at the 10:30 AM service. CLICK HERE to check out what we are singing this year! We would love your children to join us... even if it's just to bring fun, young, dancing energy!

Parenting Small Group

NEXT Sunday, November 12

9:15 - 10:10 AM

Parents with children living in the house are invited to attend our St. Mike's Parenting Small Group. The centering principle of our time together is, "Shame dies when stories are told in safe places." This group is a way for parents to be together, share experiences, and have conversations about what being a parent looks like today. Questions? Skyzone Outing!

Sunday, November 19

12:30 - 2:15 PM

Children, Youth, and Families of all ages are invited to join us for an afternoon at Skyzone! Come get your after church wiggles out with your St. Mike's family!

Skyzone is a trampoline park five minutes from St. Michael's that boasts an enormous trampoline area, basketball & dodgeball courts, a foam pit, and more!

Christmas Pageant

Rehearsal Schedule & Interest Form Below!

It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year! We want your children to help us tell the greatest story ever told! CLICK HERE to check out the Pageant Interest Form which gives us a sense of how many participants we will have and what roles they would like! Sunday rehearsals will be complete with lunch and interactive crafts and activities, making even the rehearsals a true Christmas experience!

Pageant Schedule:

Rehearsal #1 – Sunday, December 3 12:00 – 2:00 PM

Rehearsal #2 – Sunday, December 10 12:00 – 2:00 PM

Dress Rehearsal – Saturday, December 16 2:00 – 4:00 PM

Finals Care Packages

Send Updated Mailing Addresses!

Finals are right around the corner! Our middle & high school youth groups will be packing finals care packages for our college students on Wednesday, November 15. Please email Owen with your college student’s updated mailing address! We can’t wait to send them a care package!

Making a Difference

We are in the middle of our Stewardship season at St. Michael's as we plan for 2024. Each week, culminating with Sunday, November 19, I am sharing a little bit about what Stewardship means to the Children & Youth Programs at St. Mike's. Here's this week's Stewardship minute:

Hello again friends! This week we're going to talk about "talent." On Sunday we will have our 4th Children & Youth Sunday at St. Mike's. During worship you will musicians between the ages of 5-18 sharing their talents with the congregation. We will have a clarinet, piano, saxophones, and a whole host of singers that will help enrich our worship experience. This is what the sharing of talents does - it enriches the lives of others. This week with your family, I invite you to reflect on the talents that you possess and how you might be able to use them to enrich the life of others, both in this stewardship season, and beyond.
