Every summer, NDSU Extension employs a troupe of summer interns who scout crops and forages across the state. The students are strategically placed throughout the state and seek for insects, disease, weeds, and more. This information is then compiled and used for the weekly Crop and Pest report that comes out via email on Thursdays. On top of that recently gleaned information, various Extension specialists write articles on management issues you may or are facing during the growing season. The Crop and Pest Report runs yearly form early/mid-May until mid-September. The dates vary some from year to year and is dependent on the growing season.

To sign up for the crop and pest report, go to the web site: https://www.ndsu.edu/agriculture/ag-hub/ag-topics/crop-production/crop-pest-report. About half way down the page enter your email in the yellow box and click “Sign Up!”. This valuable information can help you better manage your crops.
