Help Pacific Masters Grow
Win a Pacific Masters Towel!
Congratulations to Kara of VJO, Rick G of Stanford Masters and Linda of RHMS, our first winners of the new Pacific Masters logo microfiber towel. Bring a friend, spouse or significant other to Masters swimming, have them join, and you, too, could win a new PacMasters logo microfiber towel.
If you bring a friend to join your club and Pacific Masters, you too, can enter a monthly drawing for a Sports 20 in. X 36 in. microfiber towel. The towel has the Pacific Masters logo on it and will tell other swimmers that you helped grow Masters Swimming.
Just get a new member, or bring back a swimmer who has not been a PacMasters swimmer in the past four years (2018-2021), and have them join Pacific Masters. Then enter their name, your name, and the club name at New Member Towel Drawing.
There will be a drawing for towels on the last day of the month, from April through October. If you bring in a new swimmer from March 1st, 2022 to the end of October, 2022, you are eligible for the drawing.
Good luck and thank you for spreading the word about the benefits of swimming while helping to grow Pacific Masters!

Making a Splash, Making a Difference
Olympians Making a Splash at Richmond Plunge
Pacific Masters Swimming, as a part of US Masters Swimming, understands that water safety is important. Adult Learn-to-Swim month was in April, but that doesn't mean that we look at just the adults learning to swim. It's also important to ensure that young people also know how to swim and basic water safety. US Masters Swimming and USA Swimming Foundation have joined forces making sure people of all ages have the opportunity to learn to swim.
Olympians led the charge during their appearance in person at the Point Richmond pool, May 25. Their visit was reported by Kathy Chouteau of the Richmond Standard, as seen below.
"Olympians Nathan Adrian, Elizabeth Beisel, and Cullen Jones took the Richmond Plunge to help coach local youth swimmers and to raise awareness around the importance of learning to swim.
Adrian, an eight-time Olympic medalist with five gold, one silver and two bronze medals; Beisel, a two-time Olympic medalist with silver and bronze medals; and Jones, a four-time Olympic medalist with two gold and two silver medals, helped instructors with the Richmond Sailfish swim program teach lessons to 12 local kids and to also coach the Sailfish participants, according to John Schonder, head coach of Richmond Swims."
Read more about the experience here and a video from County Supervisor, John Giola.
