CBF of South Carolina and Florida / Caribbean Islands, together, are offering this inter-generational mission engagement opportunity to families, singles, young, old and everyone in between. Spend this 2024 holiday weekend making a difference and making new friends. "Credit" is available to FL students seeking community service hours.

$100 per person (covers lodging and food) to engage in this joint mission endeavor. Registration details coming soon.

Dawnings

in Puerto Rico :)

In October, Xiomara Reboyras CBF Thriving in Ministry Cohort facilitator and Ruben Ortiz CBF Latino field coordinator introduced Dawnings to 63 individuals from the Baptist Churches of Puerto Rico. This event was celebrated at Iglesia Bautista Mamey in Gurabo Puerto Rico. 22 pastors and 20 congregations were invited to participate and experience Dawnings.

After our Sunday morning session, we worshipped with Beacon Hill Fellowship, Lakeland, FL. Thanks for your hospitality Pastor Tim Sizemore.

Before we left after a weekend of good, but hard, work, we all posted what WE LIKED along with what WE WISHED and what WE WONDERED. These churches will continue their work and meet again, as a cohort, in January 2024.

Passport's philosophy of identifying where to host camp, especially outside of the continental U.S. is pretty specific. Go where we are welcomed and invited. The family of God is so BIG and we have so much to learn from fellow Christians around the globe. That is why were are excited to share the great news that we are headed to Puerto Rico in 2024.
