Is everyone ready for FunWalk!!

This Thursday, October 19th, is our annual Funwalk, and the weather forecast looks beautiful! All proceeds for this event go directly to technology advancements in our school. This is our last week to collect pledges, so get yours in! Also, don’t forget about our amazing prizes for the top three students who collect the most pledges, as well as the top three classrooms! Thank you for your support!

Our committee highlight this week is our School-Wide Fundraising Committee. In addition to our major fundraising events held throughout the year, Golf, Blingo, Go For the Gold, and the Fashion Show, the PTA works on school-wide fundraising initiatives that bring in resources throughout the school year that directly benefit our school and students. This school-wide Fundraising Committee works on Dine and Donates, Uniform Exchange, and Pop-Up events. This instrumental committee is led by Christina Fox.

Anyone who would like to have a special intention on a prayer chain or any family needing assistance during a difficult time, please reach out to Devon at devon.c.mckenna@gmail.com. If you would like to be added to the prayer chain, please email Devon to get on the distribution list.

Please check our PTA calendar for the school-wide Eucharistic Mass at 10 AM on October 25th. All are welcome!

Lastly, registration for our Golf Outing is still open, and all golfers are welcome! Please consider coming out for a fun day to support our school!

PTA 3rd ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE

RESCHEDULED for October 27th

Golden Pheasant Golf Club | Lumberton, NJ

Due to weather and course conditions, our Golf Scramble has been rescheduled for Friday, October 27th. 

There is still time to organize a foursome and join us for what is sure to be a great day supporting our children’s school. Not a golfer? No worries - come join us for cocktails and dinner. We can’t wait to see you there!

FUN WALK

Memorial Field Moorestown, NJ

Our annual Fun Walk is THIS THURSDAY, October 19th! This is one of the school’s largest fundraisers, which raises money for technology in the classroom! Children have a great day walking (or running!) around Memorial Field while getting “stamped.” Please CLICK HERE for details.

There will be classroom prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, so please be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks!

TRUNK OR TREAT

Sunday, October 29th

BOO!!! OLGC students and their siblings are invited to join us for a spooktacular night of trick-or-treating. The OLGC parking lot will be lined with trunks ready to treat your little ones. There will be a contest for the best decorated car (Top 3 cars) and the best costume!

OLGC CLASS OF 2024:

This is a BIG YEAR for our 8th-grade students! In case you didn’t know, they are responsible for raising the necessary funds to cover their Graduation Activities, which include their 8th Grade Dinner/Dance, Class T-shirts, Graduation Yard Signs, etc. Their first fundraisers of the school year are kicking off now, and they need our support!

OLGC Day at the FUNPLEX

DON’T FORGET - There is NO SCHOOL for students on Tuesday, October 24th; are you looking for something fun to do? Please join us for OLGC DAY AT THE FUNPLEX! OLGC students can have fun together as they enjoy all the inside attractions, including Go Karts, Laser Tag, Bowling, Foam Frenzy, and MORE!

OLGC Class of 2024 Clothing Drive

Please help support our 8th-grade graduating class by decluttering your closets and your home - just in time for the Holidays! We want the stuff you no longer want or need! 

The OLGC Class of 2024 will be hosting a Clothing Drive in November. Specific details are coming soon, but in the meantime, please consider bagging up those outgrown or no longer needed clothes, shoes, purses, bed and bath linens, and even stuffed animals. THANK YOU!!!
