Safe Environment Team

Each parish has a Safe Environment Team as part of the Diocesan Child and Youth Protection Program. We are looking for a few additional people to add to our team - people with experience working with children, social work or counseling would be helpful. We have quarterly meetings on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM. If you are interested in joining our team or have questions, please contact Margie.

Donation of Children's Clothes

Many of you have contacted Margie at the office asking where you can donate children's clothes. One of our parishioners, volunteers at Urban Ministries, recently told me that they always need children's clothing. You can drop them off at Urban Ministries at 410 Liberty Street (the same location where we serve the dinner for Meals for the Hungry once a month). Any questions, contact Margie.

Older Couple Needs Help

There is a parishioner whose wife is seriously ill. He is looking for some help to come by for an hour or two on a weekend afternoon to provide him with a little break, some company for his wife, and maybe small household tasks. He lives on Hillandale Rd. If you would like to help, contact Margie

We also welcome adults and teen volunteers who would like to help. The camp will be held in Fellowship Hall from June 17 - 21st from 9:00 AM - Noon. The price per participant is $50. BAA Update

Thank you to all who have participated in the Bishop's Annual Appeal! We have raised over $123,500 which is 57% and we are at 12% participation. In just the past month, we have received over $39,000 which helped us get over the 50% mark, thanks to those 88 families who answered the call. If you have not yet completed a pledge or a one-time gift, please do so.

*Food Sale proceeds are not reflected; an update on those amounts will be provided in the coming weeks.

Immaculate Sponsor Opportunities

As we enter the third year of our newsletter, we are looking for businesses that may want to sponsor the Newsletter. Each week we send the Newsletter to 2,400 people. 66% of the people open the email (which is well above the average open rate). If you have a business and would like fellow parishioners to support you, why not take an ad as a sponsor? Experience has shown us that parishioners choose to support our sponsors. We have created a two-tier pricing option for interested businesses. Your business information will be in the Newsletter, on the website, and on the screen in the gathering space. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, contact Fabian and our team will be happy to help you to create your design.
