Flying With Betsy
Ever since we started offering rides three months ago on board the World War II veteran, C-47B, Betsy's Biscuit Bomber, every flight has sold out!
Coming up October 2d, during Warbirds Wings & Wheels 12, 15 lucky individuals will have the opportunity to fly onboard one of the same aircraft that served the US military during World War II throughout Europe. Betsy's Biscuit Bomber joined many of her fellow Douglas C-47's from around the world when she returned to Europe and participated in the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. Not only do people get the opportunity to experience the thrill of flight onboard a former troop and cargo transporter, but they also get a unique opportunity to experience, personally see, and photograph the vast collection of cars, airplanes and people gathered for Warbirds Wings & Wheels (see header photograph above) and to fly over Paso Robles and a trip to the coast and back. View Morro Bay and Hearst Castle from the air!
Register now, register early before the flight sells out! For a $150 donation to the museum (which includes fuel expenses), you too can take this flight. You must pre-register for the flight at this link. People whom have flown, said it was "awesome!"

Featured at The Woodland Auto Display
You can always find something new at the Woodland Auto Display! This month we are proud to introduce and new "working member" of the Woodland staff, and completely rebuilt 1970 C-30 Chevy truck converted toa custom Ramp Truck/Car Hauler. It's shown holding the beautiful Edmunds built King-o-Lawn Sprint Car - loaded and ready to go down the road!
This is one of the latest additions to Woodland Auto Display. It is a 1933 Ford Pick Up which belonged to our own Larry Eastwood, (Vic's Cafe and EWM). This was his pride and joy for years. It is exceptionally clean and somewhat unusual as he opted to retain a Ford Flathead as opposed to most being converted to later model Chevy or Ford ohv engines.
As an aside, we also have Kenny Colwell's 1937 Chevrolet on display. As you may know, you used to hardly ever saw one of them without the other around the Paso Robles area. Thus, we felt it only fitting to have their two beautiful street rods displayed side by side within the Auto Display..
