EDUCATION DAY & ANNUAL MEETING

Important Updates & Reminders

ALL ARE WELCOME!

You do not need to be a delegate to attend.

Convention 55 is just a couple days away. Online registration is now closed, but you may still register on the day of event. Important reminders and restrictions apply for each day as shown in the schedule below.


CHURCH LEADERSHIP MUST ENSURE THAT DELEGATES ARE INFORMED AND PREPARED TO FULLY PARTICIPATE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITHOUT ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATIONS. IMPORTANT REMINDER: CLERGY AND DELEGATES ARRIVING LATE WILL LOSE VOICE AND VOTING PRIVILEGES.

55TH ANNUAL MEETING


7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

CREDENTIALS CHECK-IN

All registered clergy and delegates must check in no later than 8:30 AM. Those arriving after this time will lose voice and voting privileges.


Clergy and delegates who have not registered online may still register in person on this day no later than 8:00 AM. Those registering after this time will lose voice and voting privileges.

THE 55TH ANNUAL MEETING OF CONVENTION IS CALLED TO ORDER


There will be breaks as needed during the course of the meeting including a half-hour lunch.

ELECTRONIC VOTING ON ELECTION RUNNER

Once again, voting will be done online using Election Runner. All voting clergy and delegates must have access to an electronic device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) in order to vote. If you are unfamiliar with Election Runner, the recorded Zoom session from last year's meeting and accompanying slideshow are available for viewing on the Convention webpage HERE.

MORE INFORMATION & REMINDERS

PARKING - Handicap parkiig can be found on levels 2A and 3A near the elevators. Electric vehicle parking is on level 4A near the elevators. REMINDER: For those attending Friday's afternoon activities, be advised that a Varsity football game is scheduled to begin at 3:15 PM, and will affect parking. Plan accordingly.

CLERGY GROUP PHOTO - During this year's Convention Eucharist on Friday, October 20, the Bishop would like to arrange a group clergy photo, and requests that clergy dress with their red palaka stoles. If you do not have one yet, you can order them HERE. Cost is $45, and will be made by the Episcopal Church Women of Hawai'i. Be sure to include include your height.


BRING WATER! For those attending the Annual Meeting on Saturday, the Response to the Bishop's Address Committee is asking that attendees bring a small travel-size bottle (3-oz.) filled with water from their home, school or church. There will be a koa bowl prepared for everyone to pour their water into as they enter Seto Hall on Saturday. Be sure to hang on to the bottle afterwards...do not throw it away.
