WT Day at the Races

The weekend of July 21 and 22, WT alumni gathered in Ruidoso, NM

for a weekend of fun and networking!

The event was hosted by the WT Alumni Association,

who welcomed alumni and friends to attend the event.

The weekend began Friday evening with a Meet and Greet event at Anejo Cantina.

On Saturday, the attendees had lunch in the 440 Smokehouse

of The Ruidoso Downs Race Track.

After lunch, attendees moved to the race track to watch the live races!

The Alumni Association has opportunities for volunteers to help with alumni events, Homecoming activities, and volunteer opportunities that connect alumni with students,

such as mentoring students.

“My wife and I had a great time at Ruidoso Downs for WT Day at the Races.

Watching the horses run was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed connecting with WT Alumni.

We’re looking forward to going to WT Day in Ruidoso next year.”

-Trent Tyson, Plains Land Bank, Amarillo Branch President
