Hello,
I hope this finds you well.
The IDA Board of Directors has been hard at work establishing the interworking of the IDA organization post COVID. We had a very successful Membership Drive Meeting in March with over 50 people attending at the Grace Millard Knox Mansion, which was the location of the most recent Junior League of Buffalo ShowHouse.
We have been surveying the membership about various events. The survey results from our first Style Row in November 2021 were analyzed at a recent board meeting. The overall consensus was to hold the event again this coming fall of 2022. A committee has been established to plan and organizes the event at the Twentieth Century Club. Look for details to follow in the upcoming newsletters and emails.
The IDA Board is in the midst of looking for feedback regarding our social events- the Summer Parties and Holiday Luncheons. Your feedback is important. Please see the above link to participate in the survey.
Our Charitable Projects Committee will be working with the Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff Estate to help restore the decor to its original design.
In response to member's requests for business development workshops, our member Peggy Morgans of Parkway Window Works hosted our April monthly meeting. Speakers LuAnn and Vince Nigara presented to a full house.
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming events at Homestone Gallery and Buffalo Architectural Casting.
Hope to see you soon at our upcoming events.
Best regards,
Karen Bialkowski
