Free Mentoring for PULSE members

Are you interested in working with a mentor from the community to help you reach your goals for 2023? PULSE is launching a pilot program and looking for 10 people to be mentees. It will take place for an hour a month for one year. If interested, you will receive a survey that will outline your wants and needs in terms of mentorship, and we will work to match you with a community member who has experience and/or expertise in that area. This could be career, philanthropic, or personal goals and mentorship. Email Jodie Federwitz if you're interested. Candidates who fill out the survey and match with a mentor will be notified for the January Meet and Greet. The deadline to sign up is January 13th, so inquire today!

Meet Tyler Wyland

Marketing & Events Specialist

Consolidated Construction

Meet Tyler Wyland! Tyler is an Appleton native who earned his BBA in Marketing and Integrated Strategic Communications. He currently works as the Marketing & Events Specialist at Consolidated Construction and has the opportunity to plan and execute events that really connect many different people. He was drawn back to the Fox Cities because of the opportunities for career development and involvement along with many recreational spots for cycling, snowboarding, and golf. He also loves downtown Appleton for its great eating, coffee, and shopping spots.

What is your favorite hobby?

“My favorite hobbies depend on the season. In the summer, I am a fan of heading up north a couple times a year when I have the opportunity. I also enjoy going to concerts with my close friends. During the winter, I love to snowboard when I get a free day or two. I am a big fan of Star Wars, so if I am spending my time in, I enjoy re-watching those movies and shows. I also enjoy playing video games like Madden and NBA 2k with my friends.”

What has been your favorite PULSE event?

“I loved the Holiday Party at Mr. Frogs because it was fun to see everyone’s ugly sweater and network with other members in an informal environment.”
