Introducing our New Online Ordering Option!

Hello Rockwell Families,

Good afternoon from campus! I hope this message finds everyone enjoying this Redmond sunshine and staying cool. We're excited to welcome everyone back for another great year in a little over a month from now.

Families: I wanted to send a reminder about purchasing school supplies. We are using a new online vendor, EPI, that has pre-packaged supply kits for each grade. This will hopefully save you time driving from store-to-store, and it will ensure items are in-stock. To use their service, click on this link and type NOR756: ShopPacks . From there, you will click on the "Order Your Supplies Now" button and select the pack for your child's grade. Please consider ordering sooner rather than later to account for shipping time, and if your pack arrives before 8/18, please swing it by the school, so we can put it in your student's classroom (if it arrives after 8/18, please bring it to the Open House on 9/1). Here is a handout from EPI with more information: LINK. K-2 families: please don't worry about the "Nicky's Communicator Folders" - that is a pretty unique item, so I will order them on my end and provide one to each student.

You are also welcome to purchase your student's supplies at the store - here are links to each grade's supply lists: LINK. Please click on the link to your student's grade, and it will pull up the list.

Please register now for our annual Community SERVE day at Rockwell, held on August 21, 2022 from 9AM - 1PM.

Join members of our school family, local churches, and community members in helping to get Rockwell ready for the school year. Projects include helping teachers in individual classrooms, planting flowers, cleaning playground equipment and beautifying the grounds.

Invite your families, friends, and neighbors to join in the fun! Lunch will be provided for all volunteers following the event. Pre-registration is appreciated to help with project planning and food estimates.

Registration is easy -- sign your family up today and spread the word in your communities!

Kindergarten (and New Family) Play Date
Wednesday, August 31

Norman Rockwell PTA is hosting two play dates for incoming Kindergarteners and any new families to Rockwell (any grade level). Meet at the "big" play structure behind the school building down by the sandy field. Wednesday, August 31st at 11:00AM and/or 7:00PM to accommodate working parents/guardians.

A few veteran Rockwell parents will be available to answer any questions you may have about Rockwell.
