Bacova Beer
in Hot Springs has live music scheduled for August 13. There are always fun things happening at Bacova Beer, including bingo and trivia. Check their website for last minute additions.
Wings & Wheels
is a combination car show and acrobatic air show. It’s held at the most scenic airport you’ll ever see. Ingalls Field in Hot Springs is the highest general aviation airport east of the Mississippi. The 12th Annual Wings & Wheels is on Saturday, August 27.
With so many great special events happening in August, you’ll definitely need to stay a few extra days to relax and experience the every day joys of Bath County, like the unique lodging options, a visit to a spa, a round of golf on a championship course and sampling some of the county’s finest restaurants.
Update on Warm Springs Pools
The restoration of the historic bathhouses in Warm Springs has been a painstaking process, but the progress is clearly visible to all who drive by on Sam Snead Highway. After being delayed by COVID, the $3 million project got underway in September 2021.
Formerly known as the Jefferson Pools, they are being re-named The Warm Springs Pools. The Omni Homestead Resort anticipates completion of the renovation by the end of 2022. An exact reopening date and details about hours of operation have not been announced. Follow us on Facebook to stay informed of the progress on this important historic renovation.

The team at Preservation Bath is helping residents and visitors to understand the rich history of Warm Springs. The group has installed several display panels that offer insights into the growth of the village, local industry and historic buildings. So far, displays can be found at the Old Dairy Complex,Inn at Warm Springs,Payne House near the Gristmill, and Webb’s General Store.
