In 1967, UNESCO established International Literacy Day to remind people about the importance of literacy as a human right. Each year on September 8, there are celebrations around the world to support readers and boost literacy. So, let’s do our part and celebrate by acknowledging the different ways we can access literacy and encourage all learners across the lifespan.
