Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced."

The Office of the Provost and the Drexel Libraries held its annual Celebrating Drexel Authors Event remotely via Zoom as members of the University community stayed at home due to COVID-19. This year, over 100 authors and editors were recognized for their 2019 publications.

Danuta A. Nitecki, Dean of Libraries, recently spoke with Ann Yurcaba, Director for Library Administrative Services, to discuss how the Libraries has adapted since the campus closed in March. She talks about the challenges of recruiting new hires, how she's approaching plans for the eventual return to campus and more.

The Libraries continued its tradition of celebrating the end of the term with a virtual edition of its well-known ScholarSip event. This term, Professor Banu Onaral from the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science & Health Systems and 61 other participants gathered together remotely for an online "food for thought" session.

During this year's 24 Hours of Impact, connect with Drexel's past and join us for a rarely-screened short skit written for the University's 100 Year Anniversary that puts A. J. Drexel and his family on stage to joke about their legacies.
