Aquila Families,

Our Aquila team is excited to welcome everyone to a new school year. A recent district-wide communication (via email) shared a request for each family to complete forms and update information using the PowerSchool Public Portal.

Please note, all forms will be available on the portal beginning this Monday, August 29.

Download one of the documents below if you have not already and follow the step-by-step instructions to ensure that your family is ready for the start of the school year. This document will guide you through important forms and steps.

Instructions in English

Instructions in Spanish

Instructions in Somali

For the best user experience, log into the PowerSchool Public Portal on a laptop or desktop computer, versus using the PowerSchool mobile app on your smartphone.

You can add money to school lunch accounts or apply for educational benefits and learn about accessing transportation information. You will also be asked to update phone numbers, address, email addresses, and emergency contacts. It is very important to us and your child's safety that we have the correct information starting the first day of school.

Thank you for your partnership in completing these necessary forms! We look forward to seeing you at our Meet & Greet (open house) on Thursday, September 1 from 3:30-5:30 PM!

See you soon!

2022-2023 Application for Education Benefits Now Available

We encourage all families to fill out an application for educational benefits for the 2022-23 school year.

For the 2022-23 school year, USDA rules for school meals will return to pre-COVID guidelines. This means that families will need to pay for student meals unless they apply (see below) and qualify for educational benefits. If families complete the form and qualify, your child will be eligible for free or reduced priced meals and other educational benefits (described below).

How to Apply

The application can be filled out in a number of different ways including online through your Wordware or PowerSchool account, or by filling out a paper copy.

Download a paper copy: English | Español | Somali

If you need assistance filling out an Application for Educational Benefits, contact the School Nutrition Department at 952-928-6146.

If you decide to fill out a paper copy, return the completed form to:
