Celebration Time
Amidst all of the uncertainty, we still have so much to celebrate. On Sunday, Harriet and I hosted my lab group at our home to celebrate Rachael Maynard’s recent successful defense of her PhD thesis. Her thesis work demonstrated the potential of using proteases that can be transduced into NK cells and T cells to promote the invasion of those cells into fibrotic solid tumor microenvironments. Rachael begins her formal clinical years for her MD degree on Monday, so this was the perfect time to celebrate her accomplishment as she heads into the next chapter of her training. Congratulations, Rachael! Read more.
