Restoration of Congress Theater

Plans for a complete historic restoration of the Congress Theater at 2135 N. Milwaukee Avenue received approval from the City's Permit Review Committee. The project involves building out the ground-level retail and housing space without altering the existing layout and upgrading the mechanicals, including windows, ventilation and ductwork, electrical, plumbing, and roofing.
