GA receives CARF accreditation... again!

We are pleased to report that Gang Alternative, Inc. has been accredited for another three years for its Case Management/Services Coordination, Outpatient Treatment: Substance Use Disorders/Addictions, and Prevention: Family Services program(s). This is the third consecutive three-year accreditation that GA has secured from the international accrediting body, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)!

This means we have proven that our commitment to offering high-quality programs and services is measurable and accountable.

Our CARF accreditation underscores our commitment to performance excellence!

GA Program Spotlight:

Youth Splash

GA is a faith-based organization and one of its hallmark programs is Youth Splash. This program creates simple and fun ways to demonstrate to teens the love of God. From games to praise and worship to talk-it-up sessions, our youth actively engage in fellowship and to strengthening their relationship with God.

At the end of last year, Youth Splash participants had a spiritual blast at the Maverick City Tour, where they enjoyed amazing worship along with an all-you-can-eat buffet. For many of them, it was their first time traveling outside of their neighborhood. Through these types of activities, youth can find comfort, a sense of belonging, meaning, and purpose that anchors them during difficult times. Connecting with God starts with putting one foot forward, and every activity can open paths to inspiring moments of faith.

To close out the year with a bang, Youth Splash held an unforgettable holiday karaoke party, ending with a Christmas shopping spree at Target. It was heartwarming to see how excited our youth were about shopping for gifts and goodies for themselves and their siblings. Nothing beats watching these kids hop around between shelves searching for the perfect items!

Youth Splash is supported through donations. Thank you to those who have supported our faith-based youth program over the years.

Please join us every Friday from 3 pm - 6:30 pm at Gang Alternative Inc.'s Community Center in Little Haiti (6620 N. Miami Ave) to observe firsthand how your contribution brings joy to the lives of our youth.
