David C. Prather Secures 1.4M Settlement in Tractor-Trailer Crash

Our client was completing a delivery of corn in western Palm Beach County when the tractor-trailer he was operating was t-boned at a busy intersection. The defendant was also operating a tractor-trailer when he failed to stop at a red light striking our client as he was crossing the intersection.

As a result of the crash, our client suffered significant orthopedic injuries and underwent a cervical spine fusion at the C3-4, C4-5, and C6-7 levels in his neck and also underwent extensive physical therapy.

Due to the permanent nature of the client’s injuries, he was forced to retire from working as an independent tractor-trailer driver several years earlier than he had planned.

Partner David C. Prather successfully obtained the 1.4M Settlement, which will help to offset the client’s living expenses during his “golden years” in retirement.
