Hello First Branch,

We hope everyone can rest up this weekend. Please remember there is no school on Monday. We want to thank Health Hub for all their tender care with our students for dental appointments and flu shot clinics. We also accomplished school picture days this week. If your student missed out, there is a makeup picture day is Nov. 6th for both TCS & CPS.

Please know we are on the hunt to find smaller pumpkins for a school wide pumpkin painting program. Please reach out if you know of places we can purchase locally or potential gather a few donations. We are also looking for larger pumpkins for CPS.

First Branch Reminders:

All snacks coming from home should be items that will set students up for success. We ask no gum, candy, or other high-sugar items come in (food or drink). The school offers a fresh fruit or vegetable daily. We understand growing kids need different things. We are looking to empower our students through healthy choices. If your family needs support for snack options, please reach out to our school nurses. There are local programs ( Family Food Backpack) that can support families quietly. Items not setting students up for success will be asked to be returned to backpacks. If there is a struggle or constant concern, the item will be collected and a parent/guardian can pick it up at the end of the day. Please remember breakfast and lunch are free this year, and there are items included in these meals that can support snacks throughout the day for students in need of more fuel.
