KODIAK WEEKLY BULLETIN

Greetings,

We wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving break! There are many exciting announcements for our community, please reach out to either of us if you have any questions.

In this issue, we share highlights from our Division Leaders, Head of School Finalists dates for upcoming Meet & Greets, and an announcement for a generous gift and match to Kodiak Pride Fund from the Chapman Foundation.

Because of our focused efforts moving forward, we are thrilled to announce the Chapman Foundation has generously given a remarkable gift of $250,000, recognizing we are an invaluable educational asset for the Pikes Peak region.

But that's not all! The Chapman Foundation has also committed to providing an additional $250,000 to our dedicated CSS community if we can come together to raise an equal amount by the end of the school year. This is an incredible opportunity for us to demonstrate our collective pride in CSS and secure a total of $750,000 in vital resources.

To kick off this season of giving, join us with your donation to support the match--no gift is too small! Nov 28 is Giving Tuesday and SWAY Coffee truck will be on campus and donating a portion of proceeds to support our great CSS energy! We are so incredibly proud to announce our partnerships and know the future is looking brighter than ever at CSS.

Sincerely,

Mike Edmonds,

Interim Head of School

Ellen Crow,

Interim Associate Head of School

HEALTH UPDATES & HOLIDAY TRAVEL TIPS

If you are diagnosed with flu, strep or COVID, please contact Dr. Melissa Hocate at melissahocate@css.org for illness and quarantine procedures.

Here are some tips on how to stay healthy during the holidays. Because flu, strep, and COVID are common this time of year and have overlapping symptoms, please consider testing if you have any of these symptoms: congestion, running nose, fever, fatigue, muscle aches, sore throat, stomach ache, nausea, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell. You may still obtain free COVID tests here. Once school resumes on November 27, please stay home if you are not feeling well to help keep our campus healthy.
