The Corpus Christi Baptist Association has a long history of churches and events going hand-in-hand together because we truly enjoy the fellowship and connection of our extended church family. One of the ways we seek to gather as a group is our Annual Celebration of Churches. This year we will gather as one body in Christ at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Corpus Christi on November 6. We will have various exhibits displayed, worship together, discuss business items and fellowship. Mark your calendars now for this important association-wide event. Doors will open to exhibits at 5:00 pm and the program will begin promptly at 6:00 pm.

Please share this information with your church members because attendance is as high as the church's ability to spread the word!

SBTC Pastors

We have five SBTC aligned churches and 12 dually-aligned churches in the association. Jeff Lynn, former pastor at Yorktown, called to extend an invitation for you to join him at Parkway Baptist Church in Victoria, Texas on September 29. Jeff is calling this “Church Health and Leadership On the Road”. It is scheduled from 10:30 AM till 1:00 PM. They will be asking pastors how SBTC can best serve them, sharing disciple-making principles, revitalization principles, as well as leading from a healthy soul.

Local Seminar to Offer No-Cost Will Creation Through Texas Baptists Missions Foundation & FreeWill Organization

In partnership with FreeWill and the Texas Baptists Mission Foundation, First Baptist Corpus Christi is honored to host a FreeWill Seminar on Sunday, September 25 at

6:15 pm. Jerry Carlisle, President of Texas Baptist Missions Foundation, will lead the seminar to help you create your legal will. It’s 100% free to you, and most people finish in 20 minutes or less.

SBTC Disciple-Making Forum

September 22 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Our great commission mandate is to make disciples of Jesus of all nations. While the mandate is easily understood, it is often difficult to know where to start.

On Thursday, September 22, we will be hosting a Disciple-Making Forums in Brownsville to help you navigate how to make disciples in your church setting. Glenn Underhill from DiscipleFIRST Ministries will share Jesus’ proven strategy to make and multiply disciples that will help launch sustainable discipleship in your church!
