CAMA is thrilled to introduce the “Municipal Resilience Toolkit: Strategies for Crisis Management”, a comprehensive resource designed to empower municipalities in effectively managing crises. Now available to members by visiting the Member’s Section (Toolkit Section) of the CAMA website.

 

Key highlights include: comprehensive crisis coverage, stages of municipal crisis management, effective crisis communication, Canadian context examples, and practical checklists.

The count down is on for the 2024 CAMA Conference being held at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel from June 3-5, 2024. We are very excited to have record attendance this year of both delegates and exhibitors and are almost SOLD OUT.


The registration is open just one more day until May 15th, 2024 and all information can be found on the Conference website


If you weren't able to secure a room during the initial room block release last Fall for the 2024 CAMA Conference (June 3-5, 2024 in Banff), we are pleased to announce that additional rooms are now available at the Rimrock Hotel (the overflow hotel). If you've already made a reservation at another Banff Lodging Property and can cancel up to three days before your arrival without penalty, you may want to consider switching to the Rimrock Hotel. It's conveniently closer to the Fairmont, and CAMA will be providing shuttle services during peak event times. Rooms within the CAMA hotel room block at the Rimrock Resort Hotel are priced at $409.00 plus tax and are available for the nights of June 2, 3, and 4 (unfortunately, there is no availability for the night of Wednesday, June 5). To book guest rooms, please call 1-888-746-7625 and mention the CAMA Block.

 

We will be recording some of the Conference sessions, which will be available in the Member's Section after the event for those unable to attend.
