November Social Media Toolkit:

This month, SCORE is spotlighting resources to support veteran-owned small businesses and offering volunteer opportunities for experienced veteran entrepreneurs. We have created the following toolkit for Social Media Chairs to help promote this campaign to their local online communities.

This toolkit serves as a resource guide for participating chapters to promote SCORE services, highlight success stories from veteran-owned businesses and spread the word about the resources available to help these entrepreneurs thrive! This collection of materials includes a combination of graphics, articles, events, templates and even suggested copy to use throughout the month of November on your chapter’s channels.

Chapter Social Media Program Performance and Changes

Our first webinar of FY24 served as both a year in review and a look ahead. First, we covered how the Chapter Social Media Program performed in FY23, including changes we made to the program and how those changes contributed to success. Then we covered each program component that is in place for FY24.

Feedback Opportunity: SCORE Social Media Advocacy Group

We are excited to announce that we are developing a SCORE Social Media Advocacy Group. The goal of this group will be to continue to shape and expand the social media support offered to chapters by rallying with the most engaged and influential Social Media Chairs within our organization.

Interested in participating? Email us at socialmedia@score.org.

Beware of Fake Facebook Support Notifications

Phishing is when someone tries to get access to your Facebook account by sending you a suspicious message or link that asks for your personal information. We are seeing an influx in these attempts that suggest that your chapter Facebook Page is pending deletion due to a Community Standards Violation or Intellectual Property Infringement. Please forward these emails to socialmedia@score.org and do not click links or attachments. We will investigate and determine if there is an actual account issue to be concerned about.
