I am advertising this position to my Ten Step Trainers to share with military spouses who live on military installations in California, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and other states along the I35 corridor. I am an instructor for this non-profit for their Internship Program for National Park Service. This is a great remote position for a military spouse!

About Environment for the Americas

Environment for the Americas (EFTA) is a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado. EFTA works to connect diverse people to conservation through education, outreach, and research. Our internship programs are an important example of how we accomplish this goal. We work with underrepresented youth across the country and federal and non-governmental agencies to provide internship opportunities. These intensive experiences introduce participants to important job skills and provide opportunities to work side-by-side with biologists, educators, researchers, historians, and other professionals at national parks, wildlife refuges, and other natural areas across the country.

About the Mission of the position:

We currently have a position available that will focus attention on habitats for the Monarch butterfly on military installations in California, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and other states along the I35 corridor. We especially seek an individual with experience living and/or working on military installations and with military personnel. Experience or ability to work with underrepresented communities near installations is a bonus.
