What inspired you to start your fitness journey, and how did you find your way to BodyUniversity?
I have always been active and in sports when I was young, so my fitness journey has been instilled from a young age! I worked out at Worlds gym way back in the day (2012-2013 era) which is where I first saw Francine doing her small group classes there!
What do you enjoy most about working out at Body University?
I love so many things about Bodu University! I have been working out for decades and it’s so nice to be able to just come to the gym and have someone tell me what to do lol. I don’t desire the 1:1 attention, and so the group training aspect of the classes here is perfectly in alignment with what I enjoy.
What fitness achievements are you most proud of since joining Body University?
My body fluctuates with the seasons in my life- some seasons are thicker than others lol. I think I am most proud of where my fitness and health journey is right now in this season. I am the lowest weight I have been in YEARS ( and feeling super strong too). I feel great with great habits installed.
What advice would you give to other women who may be hesitant to start weight training or prioritize their fitness?
Health is the true wealth! Honoring your physical body with movement and commitment will literally spill over into any area of life. Also- take it step by step… overwhelming yourself with ALL THESE RULES will never last… so start small. But just start!
We like balance here at B.U. So what's your ultimate cheat meal or guilty pleasure treat?
This definitely rotates with me however I do LOVE some cookies and taco -bell is always my guilty pleasure.
