FROM THE DIRECTOR
Thank you to Courtney Pelfrey, Orman Kimbrough, and our wonderful Literacy Week Committee – Kathrine Brownlee, Courtney Bugia, Emily Freeman, Maura Gillon, Megan Gingerich, Spencer Pelfrey, Rebecca Rome, and Kathleen Schulman – for organizing an amazing week! At the week’s end, we donated over 75 books to Winter Park Day Nursery. Most importantly, our Little Saints spent the week enjoying books and story times with special people, which helps them associate reading with joy and relationship rather than stress and memorization. Another big thank you to Orlando Family Stage and Winter Park Public Library for partnering with us to make the week extra special for our students!
Did you know that All Saints School is accredited by The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education? Early childhood programs accredited by NAC have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study and invited external professional review to verify compliance with the “NAC for Excellence” criteria. Through this process, we are held to a higher standard of excellence in a variety of areas including our physical environment, our curriculum, our health and safety standards, and mandatory continuing education for our teachers and staff. All of these elements come together to help us be an extraordinarily high-quality preschool.
Reaching these high standards and maintaining them does come at a cost. We cannot do what we do at All Saints School without events like the Big Saints Bash. This year’s Bash is right around the corner on Friday, March 7th, and it is gearing up to be a truly fantastic evening! Gena, Rev. Lo, and I (along with many of the teachers) look forward to seeing you there!
With Love,
Emory
