Dear Berryessa Community, 

It is our  pleasure to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! May this special time be filled with beautiful memories, rest, and quality time with those you love. It is also a wonderful time to show our appreciation to those who enrich our lives. 

Our district has had fun and engaging activities during fall, and we are thankful for everyone’s participation and enthusiasm! It brings great joy to see our communities celebrate together.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our teachers, support staff, and administrators for all you do to support our students and families! Your

encouragement and dedication fuels our students’ dreams. 

To our parents and guardians, thank you for guiding our students towards a life of learning, responsibility, and high expectations. By working together, we

continue to build a strong pathway to the future for our students!

Congratulations Vinci Park Elementary! Metro Silicon Valley selected Vinci Park as the Best Public School for 2023. We are proud of their recognition and commend Vinci Park’s staff members, students and families for their work together and success! 

This has been a very busy and fun season filled with activities such as Fall harvest events, Halloween parades and trunk or treats, Día de los Muertos, Diwali celebrations, and so much more! We appreciate everyone’s participation, school pride, and celebration of Berryessa’s diverse community.

In November, we celebrate Family Literacy Month and the powerful inspiration that parents and guardians can provide to their children. By reading together (even reading to pets!) and sharing thoughts about the content of the books, the love of reading can nurture a wonderful lifelong habit. You can also encourage writing stories!  

Keeping books visible around the house, making regular visits to the library, and reading the book version of your child’s favorite movie are great ways to celebrate Family Literacy Month.  

We would like to take a moment to recognize our BUSD student athletes who not only work hard on their academics but also put a tremendous amount of effort in training and participating in a variety of sports. They represent a commitment to excellence, perseverance and hard work! 

Competing in sports is also an amazing platform for learning about teamwork, discipline, responsibility and the fact that we must always keep moving forward.

Congratulations to our Cross Country teams for your successful season and all our BUSD athletes, coaches and families for your continued commitment to excellence!

This is a friendly health reminder as the flu and cold season are upon us. Health is a priority! Berryessa Union School District has partnered with Campus Clinic to provide COVID-19 community testing. Campus Clinic is currently offering Antigen and PCR testing at Morrill BYC (1970 Morrill Avenue, 95132) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (excluding holidays and school breaks) from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
