2023 Annual Members Meeting | Titans of Business Oro y Plata Awards
On Tuesday, October 24th the Montana Chamber brought together business leaders and public officials from across the Treasure State for our 2023 Annual Membership Meeting and Titans of Business Oro y Plata Awards presented by Weyerhaeuser for an engaging panel discussion and talk, followed by an evening of valuable networking opportunities. Distinguished guest speakers comprised of members of the Governor's cabinet, shared their perspectives on the four pillars of our Envision 2026 strategic plan: infrastructurebusiness climateentrepreneurship, and workforce development. We also gained valuable insights into Montana's tax landscape from Evan Wilson of Moore Information Group. His presentation is available here.

During the event, we had the privilege of honoring exceptional individuals within Montana's business community through the presentation of the Titans of Business Oro y Plata Awards. Thank you to First Lady Susan and Gov. Gianforte for being there to give out the awards. Please join us in congratulating our awardees.

First Impression Award: Glassybaby
Manufacturing Ally Award: Montana Manufacturing Extension Center
Legacy Award: Berg Garage
Montana Chamber Foundation Innovation in Education Award: Jody Sandru, Twin Bridges High School
We also presented Gov. Gianforte the "Open for Business Award." He has made it a priority to improve the #businessclimate here in the Treasure State. Our success during the 68th Legislative Session was made possible through collaboration with the Governor and his Administration. Our priorities were often aligned, especially on HB212 to increase the business equipment tax exemption. Without the Governor's signature our ten priority pieces of legislation, and other key bills supporting #workforcedevelopment, #infrastructure, and #entrepreneurship would not have become law.

Thank you to the Governor, and to those members of his Cabinet pictured here (from left to right): Brendan Beatty, Montana Department of Revenue, Sarah Swanson, Montana Department of Labor & Industry, Misty Ann Giles, Montana Department of Administration, and Scott Osterman, Montana Department of Commerce for joining us.
THANK YOU to Our Legislative Partners in Policy
