Players of the Season

Congratulations to our fall Players of the Season! In order to recognize players who stood out this past season, FC Richmond's Junior Board asked travel team coaches to select a player who demonstrated outstanding teamwork, leadership, attitude, work ethic, skills or a combination of these qualities. Each player selected is highlighted on FC Richmond's social media platforms. Great job to all who have been recognized so far! Stay tuned for more to come.

U15 Fundraising Success

We are so proud of the U15 Magic Elite team who worked incredibly hard to raise money for their upcoming milestone trip to San Antonio, TX! They raked leaves for 43 customers and worked 8 days, across 4 weekends, including their Thanksgiving holiday days off! Great teamwork, guys!

Virginia ODP State Team Selections

Congratulations to the FC Richmond players who were recently selected to the Virginia ODP State Team for their respective age groups. The following players were also invited to play on their state teams in the North Carolina friendlies in Charlotte last weekend: Alex Miller, Lauren O'Neil, Mazie Ellis, Lexi Kohstall, Dominic Dominguez-Moss, Jacob Mattes, and Evren Ozrek.

Angel Tree Program

It was wonderful to see so many teams go Beyond the Game to support the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. What a great way to have team bonding time while making a child's Christmas a little brighter this holiday season. Thanks you to all who participated. 

Beyond the Game Player of the Month

Over the past two years, Reid Pemberton, a member of the U12 Magic Classic team, has volunteered for 100 Beds for 100 Kids through Bridging RVA. Reid was first introduced to 100 Beds for 100 Kids by a neighbor, and has continued to volunteer whenever he's able. This charity provides beds to children in the community who are without one. As a volunteer, Reid helps bring a mattress, frame, sheets, pillows, and blankets to the kid's home, and then helps set up the beds. Reid enjoys getting to see the smile and reactions of those receiving the beds. Reid Pemberton has definitely gone “Beyond the Game” to support the community and those in need!

United Soccer Coaches Convention

Many of FC Richmond's coaches and staff are attending the United Soccer Coaches Convention this month in Philadelphia, PA. The convention offers world-class presenters, over 200 educational lecture sessions and field demonstrations. It is a great opportunity for our coaches to to continue their coaching education and stay apprised of the latest technology and resources available.

Non-Stop Soccer Summer Camps

Non-Stop Soccer Summer Camp registration is now open! Under the direction of FC Richmond's Executive Director, Trip Ellis, Non-Stop Soccer offers high quality camps and clinics for players of all skills levels.

Summer camps will take place at Huguenot Park from 8:30am-11:30am.

Summer Recreational Camps (ages 6-12):

Recreational Camp I, June 12-16

Recreational Camp II, July 17-21

Recreational Camp III, July 30- August 4

Recreational Camp IV, August 14-18

Summer Advanced Camps (travel team players ages 8-15):

Shooting & Finishing Camp, June 26-30

Advanced Player Camp, July 10-14
