January 2023
Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) is now a SmartStart Hub for Simcoe and York, providing a one-stop point of entry to services for families with concerns about their child/youth’s development and day-to-day functioning.

To gain access, simply call 1-866-377-0286 and the SmartStart Hub will work with you to find the services and supports that will meet your child and family’s goals.

Kids/youth are eligible from birth to age 19, or 21 if they are in school and live in Simcoe or York. You do not need a diagnosis to access the Hub.
NEWS & STORIES
People are at the centre of what we do – including kids, youth and their families. That’s why CTN is proud to support Bell Let’s Talk Day on January 25th to help end the stigma around mental illness and encourage conversations about mental health and wellness. Check out the new page on our website for resources and ways to access support in Simcoe County and York Region.
CTN’s Equipment Loan Program (ELP) includes ice sledges in a variety of sizes and configurations. Families can borrow sledges for two weeks to try sledge hockey or adapted ice skating at their local community rinks. Ask your service provider about whether this equipment would be appropriate for your child or contact equipment@ctnsy.ca for more information.
CTN Community Participation Survey Results
Thank you to all the clients and families who completed our community participation survey and congratulations to the five random winners of the Walmart gift cards. The over 1600 responses we received will help inform the creation of new opportunities and supports for kids, youth and families at CTN. We look forward to sharing an update with you in the coming months.
