National Reunification Month recognizes the people and efforts that help families stay together. It is also a time to celebrate families that overcome obstacles to providing a safe and loving home for their children.

According to the Children's Bureau with the Administration for Children and Families of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the majority of children exiting foster care are reunified with their families. In fact, over the past few years, the percentage of reunifications that occurred in less than 12 months from the time of foster care entry was approximately 66%.

Of our CASA cases that closed in Brown County last year, 31 children were safely and successfully reunified with a parent or both parents. We know that children do best when they can safely remain with their parents. That's why CASA volunteers are committed to strengthening families and advocating for the best interests of the child.
For a Few Minutes of Your Time...
Witness the CASA Impact
Due to confidentiality, it is not often that we are able to share a story directly from one of our CASA children or youth.

However, meet Dom, a youth who aged out of foster care. During his time in foster care, Dom made a special connection with his CASA volunteer. Dom's story is powerful and shows the lasting impact that one CASA volunteer has on the life of a youth.

Because of his devoted CASA volunteer and support from generous donors who have faith in our mission, Dom beat the odds.
Your generosity helps us to recruit, train, and support CASA volunteers to advocate for our most vulnerable children. With a gift from you, you can give CASA advocacy to more children and youth in our community.

You can change a child's story like Dom's.
Congratulations to 3 CASA Youth
on their Academic Achievements!
Three of our CASA youth who aged out of foster care recently graduated from high school!

Only 54% of youth aging out of foster care will earn a high school diploma. With the odds stacked against them, we are incredibly proud of our graduates' hard work, perseverance, and ability to succeed!
Special thanks to their CASA volunteers and Gallagher's Pizza for making the recent celebration special and memorable for our graduates!
Welcome NEW CASA Volunteers!

We are grateful for their passion, dedication, and commitment to changing a child's story. CASA volunteers make our critical, life-changing mission possible!
