Senior Health & Living
Independent vs. Enhanced (Assisted) Living
As the golden years approach, many individuals and their families face the decision of choosing the right type of retirement community.

Among the options, two popular choices are living independently and living with some assistance. While both cater to the needs of older adults, they provide varying levels of support. Read our blog to learn about the differences and considerations for making an informed decision.
Resident Activities
Happy 102nd Birthday Glenna McClain!
Residents gathered in Michigan Building on April 8 to celebrate the 102nd birthday of Glenna McClain, Moosehaven’s oldest resident! At 102 years young, Glenna continues to lead an active lifestyle and to be a blessing to our Moosehaven family.

The event honored all the residents born in January, February, March, and April. Cake, ice cream, and an afternoon of fellowship were enjoyed by all! Visit our blog for the full photo gallery.
'Deal or No Deal' Game Show
Our residents are Always Active At Moosehaven! It was another afternoon of outrageous fun at the annual “Deal or No Deal” game show event hosted by our Activities Department on April 18.

Our fun-loving seniors packed the Michigan Building ready to play against the house, strike deals, and win prizes! Visit our blog for more photos.
Spring Fling
What better way to celebrate sunny days, warm weather, and good friends than at Moosehaven’s annual Spring Fling?

Residents and staff gathered on the riverside lawn to enjoy a delicious lunch including ribs, chicken, potato salad, grilled corn on the cob, and ambrosia salad. Live music was provided by the band In Denial and a great time of fellowship was had by all! Visit our blog for the full photo gallery.
