This month, we're focusing on New Jersey and its people through the lens of State of the Arts featured photographers.

Brian Rose is known for his images of architecture and for his photo books about the Lower East Side, the World Trade Center, and Berlin. He’s also published a book about Atlantic City, motivated by the election of Donald Trump in 2016. In this work, he takes a close look at the social and architectural legacy of the casino industry that dominates the historic shore town.
