With more rain in the forecast for later today, please be sure to check and prepare active construction sites according to approved plans for severe weather.
Specifically, please ensure appropriate erosion and sediment control measures are installed properly and working as intended before more rain arrives. If your site has inlet protection in the right of way, please also remove those controls to allow for proper drainage and help reduce risks associated with flooding.
While we do not know how much rain will occur or whether it will be significant enough to cause flooding, these proactive measures can help ensure the City’s drainage system continues to perform correctly. It is important that we work together to help protect our community and the City's infrastructure.
