Students enrolled in the Environmental Studies Center's (ESC) Camp WET had a blast while learning all about our local ecosystem over the summer!

The Camp, which the ESC has hosted since 1993, boosts students' knowledge of the Indian River Lagoon through their hands-on exploration of seagrass beds, mangroves, barrier islands, spoil islands and open water habitats.

The Martin County School District is pleased to announce an upcoming safe schools campaign for middle and high schools: Speak Life End Bullying the Musical.

Speak Life End Bullying the Musical is a performance that conveys messages which empower students to action beyond awareness. The Martin County School District is proud to celebrate Constitution Week, which is observed annually from September 17 to September 23. This year, we are celebrating the 235th anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution. In accordance with United States Public Law, students in grades K-12 learn about the U.S. Constitution on Constitution Day (September 17). Many schools will participate in various activities throughout the week designed to enhance students' understanding of and appreciation for our nation's founding document. Courtesy of School Board Member-elect Amy Pritchett, all eighth-grade students will receive a pocket-size copy of the U.S. Constitution.

Thank you to Ms. Portia B. Scott and the Halpatiokee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for assisting with the drafting of the Martin County School Board's 2022 Proclamation for Constitution Week.

The expiration of a federal waiver means families must complete a free/reduced-price meal application to determine whether or not their child(ren) are eligible for meal benefits. Even if you do not believe your child(ren) will qualify for free or reduced-price meals, please consider completing an application - meal applications ensure the Martin County School District is able to receive needed federal funding that directly benefits our students and schools.
