The Mastic Beach Branch is now open!
Books, playspaces, and programs are now available to our community at 359 Neighborhood Road., Mastic Beach. Additional computers, technology classes, and some programs will continue to be offered at the Mastic Recreation Center, 15 Herkimer Street. Check the program calendar for event locations.

Winter Playdough Drop-In

Family Roller Skating Night @ GR8SKATES
Thursday, 1/19, 5:30 - 8:00 PM
Join your friends and neighbors at the Gr8skates Roller Rink for a fun Family Skating Night! Register each family member for free admission and skate rental.
Concessions and arcade games are available for purchase. Please note: All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All skaters must sign a waiver at arrival. Helmets for young children are optional and are not provided. The smallest skate size available is a youth 10 boys. No roller blades are allowed at Gr8skates. Families with at least one child entering grade 7 and younger.

Beginner Sketching and Drawing

Join art instructor Jennifer Lucas to learn the basics of sketching and drawing. Materials needed for class: HB, 2B, and 4B pencils, a kneaded eraser, a small clear ruler, and a sketchbook or sketchpad. Open to all.

Crochet/Knit instructor Corinne can assist you with an existing project or help you get started on a new one. No formal instruction will be given but general knowledge will be shared. Bring your own 4 ply yarn and appropriate crochet hooks or knitting needles. Open to all. All skill levels are welcome!
