Join SANDAG, Caltrans, Nature Collective, and regional leaders for a ribbon cutting celebration to commemorate the grand opening of the new San Elijo Activity Hub Park & Ride on Saturday, August 12th, at 9:00 AM. This community event will include free snow cones, activities and games, a guided tour around the lagoon, new biking and walking paths to explore, and information booths to learn more about the project. The new facility, located directly behind the Chevron gas station, will provide a convenient, centralized location for residents and visitors to utilize the new carpool lanes on I-5, visit the Nature Center, hike the trails in the San Elijo Lagoon, visit the beach, and more.
