Program Spotlight - West Coast Culinary Diploma

PG38-Culinary_resize.jpg

We offer a lot of great programs here at CMTN. One of these programs is our West Coast Culinary diploma.

Students in this program have a unique experience. Along with studying under Red Seal chefs, students will learn about the food and traditions particular to this part of Canada, sometimes even at the food source.

Students will learn in state-of-the-art commercial kitchens and in nature, whether foraging in the forest or working alongside local fishers.

West Coast Culinary is a program we're very proud to offer - learn more!

Student Life at CMTN - Leaders in Action

Students considering studying in Canada might wonder what life is like outside the classroom. The good news is there are a lot of ways to experience community in NW B.C. Students are encouraged to be involved in campus social activities and events.

One way to do that is to join Leaders in Action. This group acts as volunteers, and they assist with on-campus events and in planning and organizing a variety of social, sporting, and cultural activities. Volunteers receive training to gain valuable skills to support CMTN student engagement. We encourage our students to join Leaders in Action to connect with other students and help build and be part of a community while studying.

Student Housing
As profiled in our previous newsletter, the new student housing building at the Terrace campus continues to serve our students, both domestic and international.

The new building has 108 beds, specially commissioned artwork that enhances the hallways and common areas, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, and several other services to support students during their studies at our Terrace campus.
There are common areas (pictured to the left and below) and private study rooms on each of the three floors, allowing students to gather, study, and relax right where they live.

Visit this link on our website for more information on the services included with on-campus housing.
