Meet Our Featured Illustrator
Introducing KRIS BLACK
I have been a member of SCBWI for several years. I've drawn my whole life, but I mostly just consider myself a doodler. I've read comics my whole life, and consider it the highest form of storytelling. My preferred illustration style is a mix of American comic books and comic strips, however, my professional career started in graphic design after I graduated from the University of South Carolina with an Art Studio degree. I did that for a few years, switched to web design, and have been doing that professionally for the last 13 years.
