Engaging Children in Worship
The La Crosse Area Synod recently received a 1.25 million dollar grant which includes Sugar Creek Bible Camp as a partner and one of the "learning lab" sites. The Engaging Children Initiative equips ministry leaders to creatively engage children in prayer and worshipful experiences through the arts, movement, playful curiosity and story. Children are not just the future of our church - they are our Chuch now. Stay tuned for ways your church can benefit from new and powerful connections in this groundbreaking 5-year initiative.
We gather to share about the past year of ministry, report on activity and finances, and conduct business such as approving the Budget and electing board members. It will also be a celebration of the wonderful things God has done through your Bible camp – and an exciting look ahead into a variety of important 2025 programs to share the gospel, grow churches, cultivate life-giving relationships, and participate in the Holy Spirit’s work of equipping individuals and families for faith and life!
Wonder what your Bible camp did last year? Click to see the huge number of people and variety of ways YOU impacted people in your community through Sugar Creek.
Join Sugar Creek Barn Manager and Wrangler, Miranda Arelt, for the Saddle & Soul Adult Horse Retreat. The theme of "Stable Ground" will be explored with sessions in care & grooming, ground work exercises, horse yoga, skill building, and trail rides. Be a horse camper again - or for the firest time!
