On behalf of the GVCO Caring Hands Advisory Board, I would like to welcome all the new and returning volunteers to our group. We have numerous volunteer events planned throughout the school year and we will also be adding more events as the year progresses.

We have also planned an number of drives to help our local community partners. Last year we collected towels and made Kongs for the local SPCA, donated new and slightly used clothing for Cradles to Crayons, planted flowers pots for residents at Green Meadows Rehabilitation, assisted Home of the Sparrow with their annual White-out drive and collected non-perishable food items for the Frazer Food Pantry, just to name a few.

We have one of the most philanthropic communities in the region and our GVCO Caring Hands student volunteers donate hundreds and hundreds of hours each year. We are excited to get the year started, so look for volunteer opportunities in the bi-weekly Caring Hands news.
