Saturday, February 22nd

We are looking for volunteers to come out and lend a helping hand at our Goochland Scout Reservation. We need people who have skills like plumbing, electrical, construction, auto mechanic, roofing or even know how to operate a lawn mower. This is for volunteers 18+, who are willing to come help tackle projects around both camps.  Lunch will be provided!

Shooting Sports Classes Now Available!

Basic & Instructor Level

The renovations of the Shooting Sports Facility at Camp T. Brady Saunders are well underway, and we expect to break ground in late fall 2025 with the full facility completed by Summer Camp 2026. Once the new facility is opened, we will need additional qualified supervision. Basic and Instructor Level classes are now available, starting as early as February 22nd. COPE & Climbing, Level 1 Training

March 7th–9th

Join us March 7th-9th for Level 1 COPE and Climbing Training, designed for adults and mature youth (16+). This foundational course equips you with essential leadership, team-building, and safety skills—covering topics like dealing with fear, spotting, accident prevention, and effective teaching—and prepares you to support COPE/Climbing sessions as a stepping stone to Level 2 Instructor Training. Discover your personal leadership style while learning innovative, game-based techniques to transform your team into a dynamic, motivated unit.
