FALL FESTIVAL INFORMATION

It’s time for our annual Fall Festival! This is our fun event at the start of the year where PTA puts out games, crafts, fun music, A FAMOUS HAUNTED HOUSE, and food for purchase as we mingle, and have fun while supporting the school through ticket purchases. Costumes are highly encouraged for students and adults. 

You can PRE-ORDER Tickets to avoid a long line! Place your order online and pick up your bundle of tickets at the event, Friday October 20th. Scroll down to place an online order.

We are in need of help to make sure the Fall Festival goes off without a hitch. Can you lend a hand? Perhaps run a game for 30 minutes? Or help serve food? Or stay after to clean up? Please sign up here to lend a hand at the event 23- Fall Festival Volunteers.

¡Es hora de nuestro Festival de Otoño anual! Este es nuestro evento divertido a principios de año donde la PTA ofrece juegos, manualidades, música divertida, UNA FAMOSA CASA EMBRUJADA y comida para comprar mientras nos relacionamos y nos divertimos mientras apoyamos a la escuela mediante la compra de boletos. BIKE/WALK TO SCHOOL DAY

Thanks to PTA and Denver Health for helping us with Bike/Walk to School Day this week, it was a hit! Many of our students even received a free helmet!

October 9: Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Many people remember this holiday as “Columbus Day.” They even learned the rhyme “in 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue” to celebrate. However, Columbus couldn’t discover a land that already existed and was inhabited by the indigenous people of North America. This day now honors the original inhabitants of the Americas. October 15: White Cane Awareness Day

White Cane Awareness Day is on October 15th. Here's more info about it! For blind people, the white cane is an essential tool that gives them the ability to achieve a full and independent life. It allows them to move freely and safely from place to place—whether it's at work, at school, or around their neighborhoods. White Cane Awareness Day is one way of emphasizing the critical role that this tool plays in living their lives.
